Death resulted from a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Stockwell Funeral Home. Burial was made in the Ambrose Cemetery. Mrs. Holladay is survived by 10 children, Mrs. Charles Swartz, Mrs. George Martin, Mrs. Earl Gruver, Burch, Harley and Richard, all of Hillsboro, Mrs. Walter Lucas of Shortsville, N. Y. Mr. Sperry was a retired salesman. He last was employed at Connor Motor Co, before he retired 10 years ago. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Martha Grace Anderson Sperry; two sons, John A. Sperry Jr. and Richard J. Sperry, both of Steubenville; a daughter Mrs. Edward (Martha) Kalifut of Steubenville; a brother, Charles H. Sperry of Bloomingdale; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Hattie Thurton of Concert, Albera Canada, and nice grandchildren. Born Jan 8, 1907 in Steubenville, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Anna Mary Price Anderson. She also was preceded in death by her husband John A. Sperry in 1966; and two brothers. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Edward (Martha) Kalifut of Steubenville; two sons, John and Richard both of Steubenville; a sister, Catherine Mayberry of Fort Worth; Texas; nine grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. Calling hours are from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Sunday at the Dunlope Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, and Monday from 9:30 am until time of services at 10 am at St. Stephen's Church. The Revs. Michael Jones and John Shumaker will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
