Stephens, wife of Col. A. E. B. Stephens, died at their home in Cincinnati last Sunday afternoon. Col. Stephens who is clerk of the courts of Hamilton County, and formerly colonel of the First Regiment, O.N.G. is well-known to many of our people, he often having visited here. Mrs. Elizabeth DeHaas Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Murray Foster, at East Danville, last Sunday morning aged about 86 years, the cause of her death being pneumonia which she contracted a few days before. Funeral services were held Union Chapel on Tuesday morning, conducted by Rev. Frank Foust, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery there. John Henry died at his home at Hoaglands last Tuesday afternoon, aged 84 years, his death being due to hardening of the arteries. Funeral services were held at the home yesterday afternoon at 2 pm and conducted by Rev. Johnson, after which the remains were brought to the Hillsboro cemetery for burial.
