She was the widow of George McGuire, who died Dec 14-1956. George served several terms as village mayor. She was also preceded in death by a son, George. She was born in Highland County May 7, 1883, the daughter of Preston Swartz and Martha Leaverton Swartz. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and active in the Royal Neighbors. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Heber Rosher, Lessburg Rt 2, and 2 grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Evans-Edgington Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Reed officiating and burial in Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
