HOLT ANNA CATHERINE HOLT, aged 3 years and 8 months, died at her home on the West Union Pike, Sunday at noon, following a brief illness. Death was caused by diphtheria. Private services and burial took place at Otway Monday afternoon. The little girl is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Holt. ------------------------ JOHN HETHERINGTON JOHN HETHERINGTON, 87, died Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock at the home of his daugher Mrs. Ira Young of Leesburg. Funeral services were held at the Sugartree Ridge Methodist Church Friday at 2:30 pm with burial in the cemetery there. He had been in failing health for some time. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Murray Co. Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. F. C. Gleason. Burial will be made in the cemetery at Good Hope. Mr. Ferneau is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Wolfe Ferneau. - -------------------------- MRS. SARAH STROUP Mrs. Sarah Stroup 89, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. C. Vance, on West South streete, Wednesday evening. Death resulted from complications. Funeral services were held at the residence at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Gregory. Interment was made int he Stroup cemetery. Mrs. Stroup is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Vance. CHARLES MUNTZ Mrs. Charles Muntz, wife of the caretaker of the Hillsboro Cemetery died unexpectedly at her home Wednesday at noon. Death resulted from a heart attack. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Chapel in the cemetery, conducted by Rev. Frank Milner. Burial was made int he Hillsboro Cemetery. Mrs. Muntz is survived by her husband, two brothers, and two sisters, Robert McNicol, Hugh McNicol, and Mrs. Ira Cline, all of Highland County, and Mrs. Sam McCoy of Pueblo, Colo. - -------------------------- MRS. LOUISE BAHANNA Relatives here have received word of the death of Mrs. Louise Asher Bahanna, which occured at her home in Columbus, Sunday morning around 6 o'clock. She wass 43 years of age and death resulted from a heart attack. Mrs. Bahanna was born in Hillsboro and was the daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Jeptha Asher. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Asher Funeral Home, in New Holland. Burial was made there.
