Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Circleville, OH Newspaper, January 20, 1893 David Sweeny/Sweeney died at his home in this city, last Friday, aged 60 years. He had been a paralytic and confined to his house for a year. The deceased for several years was railroad policeman. Funeral from St. Joseph's church, last Monday morning. Note: This is my great-grandfather who left behind a wife, Mary KANE-SWEENEY, b. abt. 1840, Ireland, and daughter Mary Elizabeth, b. 1875 Pickaway Co. OH. David was buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Circleville, OH. Daughter, Mary Elizabeth, married James PINNIX, May 10, 1899. Pickaway Co. OH Naturalizations Journal 2, pg. 260: David Sweeney, b. 1840, Great Britain, naturalized Oct. 8, 1861.
