This postcard is very similar to another of the '07 flood, but looks like it was manufactured a few years later. This card is pre-1908, as that is the postmark on the reverse. (January 29, 1908 Nelsonville postmark.) also (January 30 1908 Amesville postmark.) Sender: Daniel Jefferson Hixson Addresee: Miss Louella Maude Hill, Amesville, Ohio. They were married 25 Nov. 1908 in Athens Co., Ohio. (My maternal grandparents.) They had two children, Mary Elsie Hixson, and Helen Gould Hixson. My mother Mary E. Hixson Married John Levi Kerns (both attended Ames Bern High School in Amesville)23 Jan. 1930 in Columbus. Four children, Neil Paul, Carole Jean, John Lee, Peter Allen. Helen Gould Hixson never married.
