Some of my grandmother's ancestors had come from OH to MS, and I believe my grandmother's family were either friends or relatives of the Van Burens. However, from looking at the census records 1900-1920 for Charles E Van Buren, I see that in 1900 there was a Kammerer family with several young girls living two houses away. As there are no Kemmemers in the census, I believe that these are the Kammerer girls.
