Pt. Clinton Wife Dies,
Port Clinton, Feb. 12.  Laura Vesta Jackson, wife of Philip Jackson, died at 
her home on South Jefferson street last evening after a lingering illiness of 
several months.  Deceased was 66 years old and is survived by a husband and two 
daughters, Mrs. Wm. Starkloff of Columbus and Mrs. Isaac Fought of Genoa. The 
funeral will be held on Friday afternoon from the United Brethren church, Rev. 
Fellers in charge, burial at the Lake View cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Death certificate states she was born Sept. 30, 1846 in New York State.  
Parents; Joshua Rogers, mother Jerusha (maiden name unknown) and both were born 
in Vermont.
