Byron Atkinson, 49, of 22 Covington, Fox Lake, Illinois, died September
3, 1975 in Chicago.   He was born August 17, 1926 in Corning Ohio and
was a member of the American Legion.  He is survived by one son; Byron
Jr.; three daughters, Barbara, Beverly and Karen; one grandson Scott
Atkinson; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Atkinson, Ohio; two brothers
Robert E. and Sheldon and one sister Patricia Tolbert.  Funeral services
will be Saturday, September 20 at 11 AM at St Paul's Lutheran Church,
Bucyrus, Ohio.  Interment will be in Oakbrook Cemetery, Bucyrus.

Note:  That the Mrs. George Atkinson, in the Obit, was George's third
wife, not Byron's mother.
