New Lexington Herald, vol. 26, no. 17. March 3, 1892
John McLaughlin, one of the old and respected citizens of Jackson township, 
departed this life, Monday.  He was well known and universally respected by 
everyone who knew him.  His funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning 
at St. Patrick's church, attended by John W. Fowler Post, G.A.R., of which the 
deceased was a member.

1892, vol. 21, no. 30, page 3.
