Andrew Jackson Wolfe, aged 87, a Civil war veteran and resident of Columbus 
for about 25 years, was instantly killed at dusk Sunday evening when he was 
struck by an auto while crossing the street in front of the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. David S. Beverly, 750 Oakwood avenue. The machine which struck 
him, driven by a young man, was said to be without lights.

Mr. Wolfe is survived by another daughter, Mrs. H. A. Houstle of Columbus, and 
by two sons, Robert F. and Harry P. Wolfe of Columbus.

Mr. Wolfe was a resident of Corning for a number of years, prior to moving to 
the Capital city where he was well and favorably known.
