Cemetery is located 1/2 mile south of South Bloomfield on Rte. 23. The following information is taken from the records of the Pickaway Co. Genealogy Library in Circleville, Ohio, and was gathered by Gene and Barbara Welsh in April of 1981. It was transcribed for submission online by Sue Derrick. James Short set aside one acre of his farm for burial purposes of what was to become the north half of section number fifteen Harrison Twp, in the year 1801. After the farm changed ownership, William Miller added two more acres in 1850. June 6, 1877, Adam and Nancy Miller sold the original three acres plus ten more to the Harrison Twp. Trustees for the sum of $1174. The deed was recorded June 19, 1877 by John McCrady, Recorder of Pickaway County.
