Only wish I had asked Grandfather more about him. His family--well Grandfather* was born in 1826 in Pennsylvania, he must have come to Ohio in the early fortys as he was married and had five children in 1861 when he had to go to war. Dad was a baby when he went to war. His mother's name was McCrosky hence the Irish in us. There were four that I know of: Leonard Pensyl, John M. Pensyl, sister Cynthia Pensyl Hamilton, and Susan* Pensyl Thurman. Grandfather married Martha Wise and had seven children. I can give you these seven children and their descendants to date if you want them drop me a card if you do. This is about all I have and you may have it already. Would like a copy of your paper to keep. We are all well and hope Aunt Madge and family are all right--I always loved Uncle Dick; he was so good to me when I was a child and you always remember that. I lost my mother and his kindness meant so much to me, but as I have told my husband he was nice to everyone and had a wonderful person- ality. Hope this helps out a little. As ever Alta Wood *grandfather-John Milton Pensyl *Susan-may be Sarah ------ Bobbi Estle 2780 Lindale Mt. Holly #164 Amelia, OH 45102 estle@fuse.net
