Miss Modie Rudisill entertained to a Fourth of July party Wednesday evening at "Cloverdale", in honor of her cousin, Miss Maude Huntwork of Findlay. The interior of the house and the porches were effectively decorated with flags and bunting. Music, games and fireworks helped to make the evening a most enjoyable one. Mr. Clarence Seymour won first prize in the guessing contest, and Miss Hattie Pfingst the consolation prize. Refreshments were served, small flags tied with patriotic colors were used as souvenirs. The invited guest list included: Misses Huntwork, Edna and Lulu Lutz, Bertha Welsh, Ollie Valentine, Nora, Laura and Katherine Kocher, Myrtle Kirkpatrick, Hattie Pfingst, Hazel Brown, Minnie Warner, Jessie Creager and Grace Foust; Messrs. Calvin and Arnold Pfingst, Ross Kirkpatrick, John Warner, Vance and Clyde Stevenson, Harry Foust, Berman Calvert, Clarence Seymour, Edward Leist, Alvin Miller, Arthur and Roy Valentine, Carlos Brown, Dennie Lutz, Robert Welsh, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pfingst.
