JOHN MOMMY (MOOMY) 
of Ohio

   John Moomy applied for revolutionary pension while living in Pickaway County,
Ohio, in 1829. He was then 76 years of age and therefore born in 1753. He
enlisted in the service in Maryland in December, 1776. He was captured and made
prisoner of war. After his escape he married. His wife was also 76 years of age
in 1829.
