     CECIL G. CAUDY, 86, Williamsport, died Jan. 13 in his residence.
     Born Mar. 31, 1901 in Pickaway County, he was a son of JOHN CAUDY and 
MARY ANN GEESLING CAUDY.
     He was a retired farmer, and a member of the Christian Church at Five 
Points.
     Survivors include five sons and three daughters-in-law, RUSSELL and 
DOROTHY of Pickerington, DONALD and CHRIS, Columbus, PAUL and ROBERTA, Mt. 
Sterling, FRANCIS of Williamsport, DARRELL, Florida; daughter, MARGIE 
EGGLESTON of Pennsylvania; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, 
VIRGIL S. CAUDY of Troy.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, FLORENCE CAUDY, 1973.
     Funeral service was Jan. 16 in the Porter Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling with 
Rev. Melvin R. Ritts officiating.  Interment followed in Darbyville Cemetery.
