Circleville Herald(Pickaway Co.)August 29,1845
At his residence near Hanover, Woodford county, Illinois, on the 16th/18th? 
inst., of congestive fever, Mr. William ROCKWELL, aged 41 years; formerly a 
merchant of Kingston, Ross county, Ohio.

The deceased never failed to secure with  a devoted attachment, the respect 
and kindly regard of those by whom he was surrounded in life, and though ten 
years have elapsed since he dwelt among us, yet his memory survives as a 
grateful incense, with those who once enjoyed his social commissions.  He 
leaves a widow and infant child to deplore a loss, inreparable in time.
