RIFE
Joel R. Rife, of Washington township, died at the Home and Hospital, last
Friday evening, from the effects of a fall on the 14th ult., by which his
right hip joint was fractured.  The deceased was 71 years old, and leaves a
wife but no children.  Funeral from Morris church, on Sunday; interment at
Hitler-Ludwig cemetery.

Note: Joel R. Rife and wife Mary Magdalena Rudicill Rife were the adoptive
parents to Della Kinser Rife who married John M. Calvert
