Ritter Cemetery lies at the edge of the village of Ringgold. From State Route 
188, turn north onto Ringgold Northern Road, turn right on to Hagarty Road. 
The cemetery is at the end of Hagarty Road, on the left.  There is a small 
gravel turnaround that will serve for parking. The cemetery is about a 45 yard 
walk north.  The remnants of an old sandstone fence can be seen.  These blocks 
are huge, handcut blocks.  The cemetery is maintained, but sadly many stones 
are moved and stacked around the edges.  I found stones piled among the 
remnants of the sandstone fence, stacked in piles in the cemetery, and stacked 
along the newer fences built to enclose the area.
