Mary J. Brobst, Died 22 December 1879, Aged 20 Years, 5 Months, 7 Days,
Daughter of Reuben and Lovina Brobst, also interred in cemetery.

Inscription reads:

"Dearest sister thou [hast?] left us
    [High?] thy loss so deeply [felt?]
But [tis?] [?] that hath berift us
    Who can all our sorrow [?]
[Yet?] again of hope to [meet?] thee
    When the day of life [is fled?]
Just in Heaven with joy to [?] [of?] thee
    Where [no?] [?] will [?]

Brackets include best guess for words, or inscription is illegible.

Marcy Cemetery,
Madison Township, Pickaway County.

Located on west side of State Route 674 (Winchester-Southern Road),
about one tenth of a mile north of intersection with County Road 89,
in the hamlet of Marcy.
