15 Oct. 1966.  The name of the newspaper was not on this old newspaper clipping. 

                              MRS. FRANK LAWSON.
       PIKETON - Mrs. Florence Lawson, 75, of Route 2 died at 2:15 a.m. 
Saturday in Pike County Hospital after an extended illness.
       Born Aug. 2, 1891, in Pike County, she was the daughter of James F. and 
Sarah Ellen Swiger Gleason.  In 1912, she was married to Frank A. Lawson, who 
died Jan. 2, 1958.
       Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Glenora Litterst of Frankfort and 
Mrs. Georgia Jackson of Route 2; three sons, Walter of Mansfield, Harold of 
Waverly Route 2 and James of Route 2; 12 grandchildren; four great 
grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Francis Silcott of Waverly, Rte. 2.
       Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Howe Co. Funeral Home here.  
The Rev. John Castle and the Rev. Ernest Grooms will officiate.  Burial will 
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Waverly.  Friends may call after noon Sunday at the 
funeral home.
                 


Additional Comments:
This obituary came an old newspaper clipping from the estate of my great-aunt 
Cora (Spurgeon) Hoffman of Fruitdale, Ohio.  She wrote "my cousin" and the 
date of 15 Oct. 1966 on the obituary.
