 Muriel Jean [Whaley] Blair, 76, formerly of Clarksburg, Ohio died at 6:10 p.m. 
Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at Arbor Hospice, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
 She was born on August 19, 1925 in Waverly, Ohio the daughter of the late 
Daniel Whaley and Annabelle (McKinney) Whaley.  On September 20, 1945 she was 
united in marriage to Levi Blair Jr. who preceded her in death on October 16, 
1992.
 Surviving are 3 sons: Roger (Diana) Blair and Dayle (Doleen) Blair both of 
Westland, Michigan, and William Blair of Clarksburg, Ohio; 5 daughters: Carol 
(Joseph) Kish of Brownstownm Michigan, Nancy Blair of Toledo, Ohio, Janet Sayre 
of Clarksburg, Ohio, Betty (Frank) Purol of Westland, Michigan and Gayle 
(David) Jones of Clarksburg, Ohio, 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
 In addition to her parents and husband, Muriel was preceded in death by 1 
daughter: Phyllis Blair, 2 brothers: George and Henry Whaley, 6 sisters: Cora 
Pettit, Mary Askins, Sarah Sager, Louise Newton, Ina Sager and Ruth Adams.
 Muriel worked at Adena Regional Medical Center, Housekeeping and Laundry.
 Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2001 at the 
Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, Ohio with Rev. James Blanton officiating.  Buriel 
will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
 Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until 
the time of the service on Monday.

Additional Comments:
When Dad died the Rev. that officiated had never even met him when he was 
alive.  Since our cousin, James Blanton had become a Reverand, we asked him to 
officiate.  He did a good job.
