				MILDRED C. COPELAND.
		MILDRED C. COPELAND, 92, of Washington C.H., formerly of 
Greenfield, died at 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2002 in the Fayette Community 
Memorial Hospital.  She was born on March 10, 1910 in Pike County to JAMES 
MANFORD MOOTISPAW and MARY ELIZABETH (SMART) MOOTISPAW.  Mrs. Copeland was a 
member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Greenfield where she had 
been a Sunday School teacher for 45 years.  She was retired from the American 
Pad and Textile Co. in Greenfield.  She was preceded in death by her husband, 
IRA COPELAND, who died March 31, 1985; four brothers; six sisters, and both 
parents.  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, WILLIAM L. and MARTHA 
COPELAND of Washington C.H.; two granddaughters, VICKI (MIKE) CLAY of 
Washington C.H. and JONI (JIM) MCLEAN of Reynoldsburg; great-grandchildren; a 
special niece, PATTI PENWELL  of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield.  Burial in Greenfield 
Cemetery.
