McBride the attesting witnesses thereto whose testimony was reduced to writing and it appearing that the said Isaac Kitchen at the time of writing said will was of full age of sound mind and memory and was not under any restraint it is ordered that said will be admitted to Probate and together with the testimony be recorded. E.R. Allen Probate Judge Which said Will and proof are in the words and figures following Lo written “The last will and testament of Isaac Kitchen” I Isaac Kitchen considering during the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory (blessed be Almighty God for the same) do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say First I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah Ann Kitchen all my property both personal and real during her natural lifetime or as long as she remains my widow and it is expressly understood that the said promises and property be used for no other purpose than for the support of the said Sarah Ann Kitchen. And I further direct that William Kitchen my son and Newlon Pearce my son-in-law shall take [express?] care of my wife Sarah Ann Kitchen during her natural lifetime and after her death to dispose of said property both personal and real in the following manner. All my property both personal and real is to be sold and after the funeral expenses paid divided in the following manner viz,-- equally amongst the following named persons Mary Jane Hawk my daughter Nancy Pearce my daughter Elizabeth Miles my daughter Margaret [Dean] my daughter Hannah McClure my daughter, William Kitchen my son Samuel Kitchen my son. These being my only heirs not previously provided for, and I do further state that John Kitchen my son Joseph Kitchen my son and Benjamin Kitchen my son have allready been provided for and received their portion of my estate and that they have no further right title or interest in my estate. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 23rd day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy four. Isaac Kitchen {seal} The above instrument consisting of one sheet was now inscribed by Isaac Kitchen testator in the presence of each of us and was at the same time declared by him to be his last will and testament [appear?] we at his request sign our names hereunto as attesting witnesses James McBride-Residing at Buchanan Pike Co. Albert A. McBride-Residing at Buchanan Pike Co. On this 24th day of Febr’y AD 1875 personally appeared before me E.R. Allen Judge of the Probate Court within and for the county of Pike and state aforesaid James McBride and Albert A McBride of the county of Pike and State of Ohio who being duly sworn according to law dispose and say that they have now and have seen and inspected the paper writing produced as and for the last will and testament of Isaac Kitchen late of the said Pike county deceased. That they are the attesting witnesses to said will – that the said Isaac Kitchen at the time of executing said will was of sound mind and memory and was not under any restraint at the time of executing the same, that said paper writing was acknowledged and declared by the said Isaac Kitchen in our presence as and for his last will and testament, that the said will was read in our presence, that we attached and subscribed the same in the presence of the said Isaac Kitchen at his request and that we subscribed the same on the presence of each other James McBride Albert A McBride Subscribed in my presence and sworn to before me the 24th day of February AD 1875, E.R.
