Mary and son William were in Aurora, Portage County, Ohio while Benjamin and the two daughters were in New York. William B. Micle served in the 42nd. Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War and when the father, Benjamin died in 1867, Malinda and Lydia(Emma) Micle came to Portage County to live with their mother and brother.
