Decker, John, 1817 - 1913 Section A row 9,stone hidden behind bushes -GAR Marker 
The date on his headstone (1822) is not correct. 
His death certificate states that... John DECKER b.June 15, 1817, Morrow Co.(was Knox Co.)Ohio, 
d. Feb.18,1813-Windham, Portage Co., Ohio-buried Windham Cem. His wife was Lear M. CUTCHALL 
b.July 1835-Delaware Co(now Morrow Co.) ,Ohio -d.Dec.27,1921-Windham, Portage Co., Ohio. 
The couple married Dec 17,1854-in Morrow Co., John was the son of Daniel Decker b.1783(NJ) 
& Mary Ann Yoakam b.1787 (VA). Lear was the daughter of Daniel Cutchall (Gattschall) 
b.1789-(PA) & Hannah Dunkelberger b.1798(PA). John and Lear raised 8 children in Morrow Co., 
5 boys, 3girls. Their 2nd child Mary Ann Decker b.1860 is my direct line. John served in the 
Civil war,and his GAR Marker can be scene displayed by his headstone. He served in 
OVI -88th Co.F, Sergeant He enlisted on Aug 23,1864 and was discharged on July 23,1865.
