Ivan Smith officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Short services will precede at the residence, 217 S. Maple St. Mrs. McDivitt died Wednesday night in Reid Memorial hospital Richmond, following an operation. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alice Moss, Camden and Miss Marie McDivitt Dayton; two sons, Emmet McDivitt, Kitchel Ind., and Everett, of Eaton. Also: Hamilton Daily News Journal Fri 29 Apr 1938, Hamilton, Ohio page 10 Mrs. Robert McDivitt Dies in Hospital Funeral services for Mrs. Robert McDivitt, 77, native of Preble county, who died Wednesday night in Reid Memorial hospital, Richmond, Ind., after an operation, will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in Concord Congregational-Christian church, Eaton, Rev. Ivan R. Smith, pastor of the Eaton Congregational-Christian church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Concord cemetery. She spent most of her life in Dixon township, lived in Eaton the last four years. She was a member of the Eaton Congregational-Christian church but formerly held membership in the Concord church. Surviving are two sons, Emmit, Kitchell, Ind., and Everett, of the Concord community; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Moss, Fair Haven; Miss Marie McDivitt, Dayton; one brother, Quincy Flora, Eaton; four sisters, Mrs. A. H. Toney, Mrs R. M. Harvey, Sterling, Kan.; Mrs. Will Whitesell, College Corner, and Mrs. Joe Beasley, Eldorado.
