          Putnam County Ohio 1857 

Died at Kalida, October 30th of consumption Mr. Samuel BADMAN in his
26th year of his age. The deceased was long a resident of Ashland
County, Ohio. He had long been afflicted with the indidious disease of
which he died. He came to this place with his mother (Anna) and other
members of his family to reside some two weeks ago since which time
until his death, he was confined to his bed. We understand he leaves one
or two children in Ashland county.
