VAUGHNSVILLE, March 30 – Mrs. J. M. Gander of Vaughnsville died Friday at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Reese, of Vaughnsville.  She had been in 
poor health for several years and had been bedfast for the past five days.  
Mrs. Gander was born May 28, 1858 in Vaughnsville, and has resided there all 
her life.

Besides her daughter she is survived by a son Grover, of Dundee, Mich.; a 
sister Mrs. J. B. Garner, of Columbus Grove; seven grandchildren and eight 
great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be tomorrow at the Union church, of which she was a 
member, with Rev. M. L. Garberson of Sidney, the former pastor, officiating.  
Burial will be in Truro cemetery, near Columbus Grove.

Mrs. Gander’s body will be removed from the Harris funeral home in Columbus 
Grove and taken to the residence late this evening.
