     COLUMBUS GROVE, June 24 – Edward J. Hathaway, 69, retired farmer, died  
Saturday morning at his home following a year’s illness.
     Mr. Hathaway was born July 21, 1880, at Ft. Ancient, O.  He moved to 
Putnam-Co in 1908 where he married Grace Garner.
     Surviving are the widow, and two brothers, Roy Hathaway and Hally 
Hathaway.
