Mrs. Effie D. Au

     Mrs. Effie Daubenspeck Au, 85, widow of Jacob Au, died this morning
at the Hillcrest Rest home following a long illness.
     Mrs. Au was born east of Mansfield Dec. 25, 1867, the daughter of
Solomon and Drusilla Henry Daubenspeck, and spent her entire life in
this community.  She was a member of the Grace Gospel Church and
formerly resided at 266 South Main St.
     Mrs. Au was the last of her family and is survived only by nieces
and nephews.
     Funeral services will be conducted at the J. H. Finefrock and Sons
Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday by her pastor, M. W. Radcliffe, with
burial in the Mansfield cemetery.
     Friends may call at the funeral home.
