Hoover, one of the oldest residents of Mifflin township, died at the family home at 9 o'clock last evening after an illness of five weeks. He was born in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, March 28, 1848, and at the age of two years came with his parents to Ohio and settled in the township in which he had since lived. He is survived by his wife, three sons, W.H. Hoover, Greenford; Samuel D. and George H. of Mansfield, and one daughter, Mrs. Anna Frankeberger, of Mansfield; also by two brothers, Benjamin F. of East Mansfield, and Jacob, of Mifflin township, and one sister, Mrs. Lydia Lantz, of Mansfield.
