John Leech, age 74, died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert
Haverfield, 6 Home avenue, at 
9:15 p.m. Sunday.  Death followed a stroke of apoplexy.  He is survived by five
daughters, Mrs. J.H. Dillon, 
of Olympia Wash., Mrs. Emmanuel Lambright, of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. P.H. Pollack,
Mrs. Edward Eberhardt, 
and Mrs. Haverfield, and two sons, Thomas W. and Samuel Leach, of this city, and one
brother, Joseph 
Leach of Springdfield.  Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.

Funeral services for the late Joh Leach, who died at this home of his daughter, Mrs.

Home Avenue, Sunday night, will be held from the resident Thursday afternoon at 2
o’clock, conducted by 
the Rev. T.S. Weaver, pastor of the South Main Street Evangelical church.
