Mrs. Margaret Newlon, aged 75 years, died early this morning at her home two miles
south of the city on 
the Lexington road.  The cause of her death was stomach trouble.

Mrs. Newlon was the widow of Thomas Newlon, who died in March of this year.  Thomas
Newlon, deceased, 
was a brother of Ex-Mayor Newlon of this city.

Funeral services will be held from the residence on Saturday at 1:30 o’clock p.m.
