In a quiet service at the First Presbyterian Church Sunday at 12:30 Laura Bickel Murphy, daughter of Mrs. George Boyce, R. D. 4, Shelby exchanged nuptial vows with Earl William Shea, son of Mr. And Mrs. James A. Shea, Lexington- Springmill Road. Rev. David N. Roller officiated at the ceremony. For her wedding the bride was attired in a floor length Alice blue taffeta gown and wore a shell pink hat covered with a blue shoulder length veil. Her only jewelry was a pearl necklace, the gift of the bridegroom. She carried an arm bouquet of lilies and delphinium tied with pink ribbon. John S. Bradley, grandfather of the bride, gave her in marriage. The couple was attended by the bride’s sister, Mrs. Robert Paul Lambrecht and her husband, Mr. Lambrecht, of Cleveland. Mrs. Lambrecht wore a shell ink dotted-swiss floor length gown with blue accessories and carried an arm bouquet of rosebuds, delphinium and carnations. For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Boyce was attired in a navy blue ensemble with matching accessories and wore a corsage of carnations. Mrs. Shea wore a black ensemble with white accessories and a corsage of pink rose buds. Nuptial music was Lohengrin’s and Mendelssohn’s wedding marches played by Miss Mabel Zehner, organist. During the ceremony she played La Golandrina by Sarradel and Traumerei by Schumann. After the wedding ceremony a reception was held for twenty guests at the home of the bride’s mother. Luncheon was served at a table decorated with crystal and white tapers. A wedding cake topped with a miniature bridal couple served as centerpiece. After the reception the couple left for a three weeks’ wedding trip through the west. Upon their return they will reside at 736 North Mulberry Street. Out-of- town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gaetz, Columbus, sister of the groom.
