CARL BROWN.
     Carl Brown, 74, of Fruitdale, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Mt. Carmel 
Medical Center in Columbus.
     He was born Feb. 6, 1925 in Ross County, the son of JOHN BROWN and CORA 
ESTLE BROWN.
     He is survived by his wife, BEATRICE MORRIS, whom he married on August 
29, 1946; two daughters, MARGENE (GEORGE) BEATTY of Greenfield, and WANDA 
COKONOUGHER of Bainbridge; one son, JERRY BROWN of Bainbridge; seven 
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, HERBERT BROWN of 
Leesburg.
     He was preceded in death by one son, six brothers and three sisters.
     Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4, at the Smith-
Moore Funeral Home in Bainbridge.  Troy Villars will officiate.  Burial will 
be in Bainbridge Cemetery.
     Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, at the 
funeral home.
