HELEN MAHALA COOK
	Helen Mahala Cook, age 92, of Washington C.H., passed on Wednesday, 
November 15, 2006, at 5:40 a.m., at the Court House Manor Nursing Home.  
	She was born on August 15, 1914, in Ross County, to MARTIN STEINER and 
MINNIE (STEINMETZ) STEINER.  She was a member of the First Christian Church, 
past member of the Eastern Star, and a founding member of the Washington 
Garden Club.  She was a 1932 graduate of Buckskin High School in South Salem.
	Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband H. EUGENE 
COOK, sister BESSIE ROYSE, and brother HAROLD STEINER.
	Survivors include her children, Wesley E. (Grace) Cook and Marvin E. 
Cook, all of Washington C.H., and Saundra L. (David) Bowling of Granville; 
seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Wanda Steiner of 
Florida, and several nieces and nephews.
	Arrangements by Summers Funeral Home.
	Burial in Washington Cemetery.

HELEN M. COOK
	The funeral service for Helen M. Cook, age 92, of Washington C.H., was 
held on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home 
with Steve Henderson officiating.  A poem was read by grandson Brian Bowling.  
Burial of the cremains will take place at a later date.  Mrs. Cook passed away 
on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the Court House Manor Nursing Home.

Helen was the grandchild of Henry and Helen (Barleon) Steinmetz of Lower Twin 
Road, Buckskin Township, Ross County Ohio, and the first cousin of Amelia 
(Miller) Cokonougher.
