                       GRACE OLIVE (CARTWRIGHT) DENTON.
                       1916-2001.
        Grace Olive (Cartwright) Denton, 85, of Greenfield, died at 4:28 a.m. 
Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001 at the Greenfield Area Medical Center.
        She was born June 1, 1916 in Ross County, the daughter of John Henry 
Cartwright and Olive (Beechler) Cartwright.  She was of the Methodist faith.  
She was a private duty nurse.
       She was preceded in death by brother, Lewis Edward Cartwright; 
grandson, Joe Staats and both parents.
      She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Evelyn J. Tom, of 
Hillsboro, Judy and Elmo Purdin, of Greenfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, 
James and Patricia Reeves, of Greenfield, David and Cheryl Elliott, of South 
Salem; six grandchildren, Connie Ladd, of Washington C.H., Robert Wayne 
Ebersole, of Ashtabula, Caitlin Elliott, Olivia Elliott and Iain Elliott, all 
of South Salem, Sharon Swift, of Bainbridge; three step-grandchildren, Timothy 
Fryer, of Columbus, David Reeves, of Leesburg, John Mack Thomas, of Norfolk, 
Va.; three great grandchildren, Daron Swift, Brooke Swift and Bruce Swift, all 
of Bainbridge; special friend, Jean Brumfield, of Greenfield.
      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001 at the 
Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield.  Burial will be in the South Salem 
Cemetery.
      Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service Saturday.

           Grace Olive Denton, 85, of Greenfield, died at 4:28 a.m. on 
Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001 in Greenfield Area Medical Center.
           Mrs. Denton was born June 1, 1916 in Ross County to John H. and 
Olive (Beechler) Cartwright.
           The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Murray-Fettro 
Funeral Home in Greenfield.
           Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral 
home.
