                                 FERDON.
          Grover C. Ferdon Sr., 60, of 85 N. Sugar St., Chillicothe, died at 4 
a.m. Thursday in the V.A. Medical Center, Chillicothe.
          A U.S. Navy World War II veteran, Mr. Ferdon is survived by his 
wife, Millie Jordan Ferdon; his mother, Grace Long of Greenfield; two 
daughters, Mrs. Howard (Linda) Dearth of Salisbury, N. C., and Mrs. Alfred 
(Mary) Parker of Chillicothe; two sons, James L. Ferdon of Chillicothe, and 
Seaman Second Class Grover Ferdon Jr. of Norfolk, Va; eight grandchildren; one 
brother, Wilbert J. Ferdon Jr. of  Greenfield, and one sister.
