                         STANLEY D. FORDYCE
     Stanley D. Fordyce, 96, of Floral City, Fla. (formerly of Greenfield), 
died Friday Sept. 29, 2006 at his residence.
     He was born in Warren County on May 12, 1910, the son of Walter Fordyce 
and Susie (Hiles) Fordyce.
     He was a beekeeper in the Greenfield area for over 35 years, and later 
was the owner of White Moving and Storage in Greenfield.  He was also an avid 
fisherman and a 1928 graduate of Buckskin High School.
     He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey A. Fordyce, March 20, 1998; 
daughter, Carol Satterfield; three grandsons, Chad East, Jeffery Fordyce and 
Jimmy Fordyce; two granddaughters, Julia Martin and Leann Fordyce; one sister, 
Norene Brumfield; and both parents.
     He is survived by two sons, Chester (Jean Ann) Fordyce of Washington C.H. 
and Glenn Robert Fordyce of Floral City, Fla.; two daughters, Debbie (Ron) 
Paisley of Summerfield. Fla. and Ann (Howard “Shorty”) Shuster of South Salem; 
10 grandchildren, Amy Malott of Yucaipa, Calif., Joe McCartney of Calimesa, 
Calif., Shawna Martz of Newberry, Fla., Jimmy Satterfield of Roseville, Shane 
Satterfield of Heath, April Barnett of Thornville, Lona Aleman of Summerfield, 
Fla., Scott Shuster of Frankfort, David Shuster of Morehead, Ky., and Susan 
Roads of Greenfield; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-
grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. at the Murray-
Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Chris Mulpas officiating.  
Burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery.


Additional Comments:
The maiden name of Stanley's wife was Cokonougher.  She was the daughter of 
Addison Elsworth Cokonougher and Hannah Mazetta (Hurless) Cokonougher.
