                            HESTER.
     ALMA LUCY HESTER, 80, died Monday morning, July 15, 1991, at 10:30 a.m. 
at her home at 1203 Greenhills Village in Greenfield.
     She was born June 29, 1911, in Fruitdale to HARLEY E. EVERHART and IVA 
PENWELL EVERHART.  Her occupation was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death 
by her husband, DAVID HESTER and a son WILSON SNYDER in 1965.
     She is survived by three sons, KENNETH SNYDER of Florida, MILES SNYDER of 
Circleville, and THURMAN SNYDER of Louisville, Kentucky; three brothers, 
GILBERT EVERHART of Washington Court House, ELSWORTH EVERHART of Procterville, 
and PAUL EVERHART of Lewistown; five sisters, DOROTHY SHUMAKER of Humbolt, 
DAISY STEINMETZ of Urbana, BEULAH BYERMAN of Delray Beach, Florida, ALTA 
MORRIS and MINNIE DAVIS, both of Highland.
     The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Murray Funeral Home in 
Greenfield.  The Rev. Earl Russell will officiate.  Burial will be at South 
Salem Cemetery.  Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
     Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenfield Area Medical Center 
and Home Health Care.
