DAVID W. HESTER. David W. Hester, 82, 6973 Lower Twin Rd., Lyndon, died at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 1991, in Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington. Born Aug. 18, 1908, in Ross County, he was the son of John Hester and Caroline Strickrott Hester. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War II. A graduate of Buckskin Valley High School in South Salem, he was a retired employee of American Pad and Textile Company. He is survived by his wife, Bessie Forsythe Hester, whom he married Aug. 18, 1946; a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and William Morrow, Columbus; a grandson, and a brother, Howard Hester, State College, PA. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Charles Hester. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Murray Funeral Home, Greenfield, officiated by Rev. Robert K. Blaine. Burial will follow in South Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
