The name of the newspaper is not on the clipping. Daniel Hixon. Daniel Hixon, son of Wm. and Matilda Cox Hixon, born Nov. 2, 1852, at South Salem, was stricken with paralysis on Feb. 3 and departed this life on Feb. 22, at his home in Bourneville. His age was 77 years, three months and twenty days. Mr. Hixon had lixed in Ross county most of his life. He is survived by his wife and two daughters Mrs. Julia Treber of Bainbridge and Mrs. Florence Dickerson, of Washington C.H., 6 grand children, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was a kind and loving husband and he will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Funeral services were held Monday, 2 p.m., at Bourneville M.E. church. The burial was at Bainbridge.
