                                 MOOMAW.
          Orvel C. Moomaw, 78, Lyndon Rt. 1, died at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday at 
University Hospital, Columbus, after a nine-week illness.
          Born in Ross County Mar. 23, 1896, he was the son of Franklin M. 
Moomaw and Ida Curry Moomaw.  On June 10, 1936, he married the former Kathleen 
Brust, who survives.
          He was a member of the South Salem Presbyterian Church, the Paint 
Valley Camera Club, men's Bible class in his church and was a school teacher 
in Ross County schools.  He was a veteran of World War I.
          Service will be held at Murray Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, 
officiated by Rev. Clair Emerick.  Burial will follow in South Salem Cemetery.
          Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
