WILSON. Walter A. Wilson, 85, of 1105 Washington av, Washington C.H., died 1:28 a.m. Sunday in Browns Hospital at the Dayton V.A. Center, where he had been a patient 10 days. He had been in failing health for several years. Born in Ross County Nov. 25, 1895, he was the son of James and Addie Hester Wilson. Mr. Wilson lived most of his life in Washington C.H., where he was a retired shoe repairman. He was a member of the Sugar Grove U. Methodist Church and a charter and life member of VFW Post 4964 in Washington C.H. A World War I Army veteran, Mr. Wilson was a member of the 42nd Rainbow Division and was the recipient of a purple heart. He is survived by his wife, Mary Busic Wilson; one son, William Wilson of Washington C.H.; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Garringer of Bowersville and Mrs. Anna Lee Bolton of Kissimmee, Fla; six grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Hester of Washington C.H. Service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home, Washington C.H., with Rev. Rodney Burk officiating and burial in Washington Cemetery.
