John Robert Wisecup 
John Robert Wisecup, 79, of Hayward, Calif., died on April 1, 2006, at Kaiser 
Hospital in Hayward.
He was born August 16, 1926, in Ross County, Ohio. He was the son of the late 
James Robert and Hazel (Hester) Wisecup.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Ziegler; daughter, Tammara (Glen Jeffrey); 
son, Russell Callapp (fiancee, Linda Parker); grandchildren, Michael and 
Richard Bell; sisters, Mildred Glenn (Robert) of Greenfield, Ohio, and Donna 
Jean Dailey (James) of Chillicothe, Ohio; brother, Jerry Wisecup (Bertie) of 
Circleville, Ohio; a special cousin, Mary Ellen Hurless of Piketon, Ohio; and 
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hazel Wisecup; sisters, 
Mary Margaret Herman and Eileen Ruth Head Swonger; and brother, James Fay 
Wisecup.
Mr. Wisecup worked in the Doggie Diner restaurant business for 35 years and 
later owned and operated his own restaurant, The Carousel, in San Francisco. 
He loved the restaurant business and also enjoyed gardening and travel. He 
touched many lives and will be missed.
Visitation will be Friday, April 7, from 4:30 -8:30 p.m., with services at 7 
p.m., in the Mission Chapel at Chapel of the Chimes, 32992 Mission Blvd., 
Hayward, Calif.
