Photo can be seen at: http://www.usgwarchives.net/oh/ross/photos/highscho2590nph.jpg Image file size: 76.5 Kb This photo of the High School in Chillicothe, Ohio was on a postcard that was mailed and postmarked on 25 March 1912 to my grandmother, Miss Amelia Miller, from her brother, Ralph Miller. The card was published by F. M. Kirby & Co. in the U.S.A. The postage cost was one cent, and the card was postmarked at Chillicothe, Ohio. Additional Comments: Amelia, her brother, and their siblings were orphaned in 1908 and were placed by the state with whatever families would take them. The children rarely saw one another and communicated with each other by mail. The message on the postcard reads: "To Miss Amelia Miller; Lyndon, O.; R.F.D.#2; In Care of Edd Cox. Dear Sister, I am glad to hear from you. I am well. I have went to school all winter. I have heard you have a good home. When you see grandfather, tell him I would like to see him. Well Amelia, I got a letter from brother Clem the other day. he said he was well. I will rite Edna a letter today. I will close. from Ralphie to Amelia. answer soon. goodby."
