    This photo of John Henry Cokonougher and his wife Amelia Irene (Miller) 
Cokonougher was taken about 1960 in the front yard of their home on Wisecup 
Hill in Buckskin Township in Ross County, Ohio.  

Additional Comments:
    John (6 July 1883-12 Sept. 1963) was the son of Zackariah and Mary 
(Wisecup) Cokonougher.  Amelia (13 July 1900-2 June 1963) was the daughter of 
George C. Miller and Henrietta Emelia (Steinmetz) Miller.  John and Amelia had 
five children:  John Henry Jr., Cecil Lloyd, Howard William, Herbert Miller, 
and Geraldine June Cokonougher.  John and Amelia were my grandparents, and I 
spent many happy weekends as a child visiting and staying with them on their 
farm.
