This photo is of Henrietta Amelia (or Emelia) Steinmetz Miller of Buckskin 
Township in Ross County, Ohio.  I would estimate the photo to have been taken 
around 1887.  

Additional Comments:

	Henrietta Emelia (Steinmetz) Miller was the daughter of Henry 
Steinmetz (b. 12 Nov. 1845, d. 28 Jan. 1922) and Helen Adeline (Barleon) 
Steinmetz (b. 24 July 1846, d. 30 Dec. 1924).  Henry and Helen lived on Lower 
Twin Road, about 4 miles east of South Salem, Ohio, on a segment of land that 
had previously belonged to Helen’s father, George Barleon.  In addition to 
Henrietta, Henry and Helen Steinmetz also had the following other children:  
Walter F. Steinmetz, Lilly Steinmetz, G. Walter Steinmetz, R. B. Steinmetz, 
Jesse Steinmetz, H. B. Steinmetz, and Minnie H. Steinmetz. 
	Henrietta was born 27 Nov. 1867 in Ross County, Ohio, and married 
George C. Miller (b. 26 July 1864, d. 23 April 1908) on 5 Sept. 1887 in Ross 
County, Ohio.  She died 12 May 1907 after a long illness with cervical cancer.
	I don’t have a picture of George C. Miller, or Henry and Helen 
Steinmetz, and would appreciate having one, if someone out there has one they 
could e-mail me.
	The children of Henrietta and George Miller were:

1.  Edna May Miller (b. 31 Mar. 1888; d. 16 Feb. 1940).
2.	Blanch Ellen Miller (b. 21 May 1889; d. 4 June 1902).
3.	Georgia Alice Miller (b. 26 May 1891; d. 24 Dec. 1941).
4.	Grover Clement “Clem” Miller (b. 12 Jan. 1893; 	d. 26 June 1964).
5.	Mary Rebecca “Mamie” Miller (b. 13 Sept. 1894; 	d. 8 Feb. 1955).
6.	Ralph Walter Miller (b. 28 Aug. 1897; d. April 	1961).
7.	Amelia Irene Miller (b. 13 July 1900; d. 2 June 1963).  Married John 
H. Cokonougher.
8.	Katie Maria “Marie” Miller (b. 24 Mar. 1902; d. Nov. 1953).
