From page 336 of the "History of Ross and Highland Counties, Ohio With Illustrations and Biographical Sketches.  Cleveland, Ohio: Williams Bros. Publishers, 1880.
"Daniel Hixon married Peggy Cunningham in February, 1807, and settled on 
survey 4139, where they made a home and died.  Joseph Hixon lived on the same 
place in 1811."
